 Hotel NizzaVia Del Giglio, 5, Florence Offering a very central location just 3 minutes' walk from the train station, Duomo and Arno river, this small hotel is set in a refurbished building dating back to the 14th century. In the 18th century the building was a residence for monks and some of the brickwork from this time is still visible. Now a comfortable hotel, it is one of few businesses left in the city run by original Florentine families. All bedrooms are decorated in a typical Florentine style and have been completely restructured using local materials such as walnut wood, marble and Firenzuola stone. There is also a cosy breakfast room where you can choose from the buffet items, before heading out to enjoy your day in Florence.
